Coaching practice — Atlanta area, available remotely

Clarity, before you need it.

I spent sixteen years leading teams inside one of the most demanding organizations in public health. Now I coach people and groups through the same moments I once had to navigate myself — a hard transition, a team that's stuck, a leadership role that arrived faster than the confidence to fill it, or a trip that needs someone else to hold the plan.

Leadership Training

For new leaders, small-group leaders, and anyone handed responsibility before they felt ready.

Most leadership training teaches theory. This is built from years of leading real teams under real pressure — plus formal training in facilitation, personality assessments, and 360° feedback. We work on the actual skill of leading: running a room, giving feedback that lands, and making decisions when the picture is incomplete.

Sessions are practical and grounded — built around the situations you're actually walking into this month, not a generic curriculum.

Good fit if you're
  • New to a leadership or supervisory role
  • Leading a small group, team, or volunteer cohort
  • Preparing to step into more responsibility
  • Looking for a structured 360° feedback process

Career Coaching

For the transition you didn't fully choose, and the one you're finally ready to make on purpose.

I've navigated a major federal career through instability, reorganization, and hard decisions about what comes next — and I coach from that experience, not a textbook. Whether you're re-entering the job market, changing fields, or building something of your own alongside your current role, we'll get specific about what you actually want and build a plan that survives contact with real life.

We work on
  • Naming what's actually not working in your current role
  • Career pivots and transitions, including from public service
  • Building confidence for the next step, not just a resume
  • Making a decision when every option feels risky

Teamwork Coaching

For teams that are competent individually and stuck collectively.

Most team dysfunction isn't a skills problem — it's a clarity problem. Who owns what. Where the friction actually comes from. What each person is genuinely good at, versus what they've been doing by default. I bring structured team facilitation and gifts-based assessments to help a team see itself clearly, then rebuild how it works together.

Formats
  • Single facilitated team session
  • Multi-session team health engagement
  • Gifts & strengths mapping across a team
  • Ongoing coaching for a team lead

General Work Coaching

For the quieter question underneath the job: who am I when work gets hard?

Not every work problem fits neatly into "leadership" or "career." Sometimes it's the inner critic that shows up after hard feedback. Sometimes it's the gap between who you want to be at work and who you feel like you are on a bad week. This track is space to think out loud, with someone who's done the same work on herself.

Common starting points
  • "I got difficult feedback and I can't stop replaying it"
  • "I don't feel like myself at work anymore"
  • Burnout, perfectionism, or fear of being found out
  • Wanting a regular space to reflect and reset

Travel Coaching

For the friend who always ends up planning the group trip — and the trip that deserves better than a group chat.

I coach small groups and couples through planning trips that actually fit everyone — through structured interviews with each traveler, not guesswork. I'm not the one booking your flights; I'm the one making sure the trip you take is the one your group actually wanted, with someone else finally holding the plan.

Good fit if
  • You're always the one who ends up planning
  • Your group has different paces, budgets, or priorities
  • You want a trip planned as a gift for someone else
  • You'd rather show up than plan
